BPI celebrates Filipino craftsmanship through MaArte 2026 partnership

As the Bank marks its 175th anniversary, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) continues to champion Filipino artistry, entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage through its partnership with MaArte 2026, the annual fundraising fair of the Museum Foundation of the Philippines.
Held from August 13 to 16, 2026 at The Peninsula Manila, MaArte is on its 17th year of showcasing Filipino craftsmanship and creativity, bringing together artisans, designers, and entrepreneurs in a curated celebration of Philippine-made products. Organized by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines (MFPI), a non-stock, not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the country’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, MaArte is one of the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives that helps support its work with the National Museum and other museums in the Philippines.
This year’s fair will feature more than 200 local brands and makers, highlighting both established and emerging names in Filipino design and craftsmanship. Among the participating brands are Happy Andrada, PamPinay, A.Mara, and OneWeave, alongside newer exhibitors such as Genes & Hails, Locallaé, Mele + Marie, and other homegrown creative businesses.
As one of the event’s major sponsors and the exclusive credit card installment partner, BPI is giving clients more ways to enjoy the fair while supporting local creative businesses. BPI Credit Cardholders can take advantage of exclusive payment privileges, including up to six months FlexipayZero for a minimum spend of Php 3,000, pay after 3 months with FlexipayLater, and up to 100% Bonus Madness Limit for qualified BPI Credit Cardholders.
Eligible BPI clients, including Private Wealth, BPI Gold, Visa Signature cardholders, and select Institutional Banking clients, will also enjoy exclusive access to the Preview Sale on August 13, ahead of the fair’s public opening. BPI Gold clients are set to experience priority payment handling at the MaArte Fair through a dedicated payment lane especially for them. Meanwhile, BPI Rewards members may redeem 500 BPI Rewards Points for admission to the exclusive one-hour preview shopping experience.
“At BPI, we believe that supporting Filipino artistry goes beyond making purchases—it is about helping preserve our culture and creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs to thrive. Through our partnership with MaArte 2026, we are bringing together meaningful client experiences, convenient payment solutions, and our continued commitment to uplifting the country’s creative industries. As we celebrate 175 years of serving Filipinos, we remain dedicated to empowering communities and helping local businesses grow,” said Cathy Santamaria, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at BPI.
Through partnerships such as MaArte 2026, BPI continues to create meaningful opportunities that connect clients with Filipino artisans and entrepreneurs while helping preserve the country’s rich cultural heritage. By bringing together exclusive experiences with innovative financial solutions, the Bank reaffirms its commitment to supporting local communities and enabling more Filipinos to celebrate and invest in homegrown craftsmanship.
