MANILA, PHILIPPINES—Laguna-born and Quezon City-based solo artist neytan has proved once again that love is a complex feeling and that romantic ballads aren’t dead with his new single, “Ano Lasa ng Pag-ibig? Edi Tipaklong”—out now via Offshore Music.
Marking his first release for the year, “Ano Lasa ng Pag-ibig? Edi Tipaklong” arrives on the heels of neytan’s groove-laden track, “Out of Tempo Out of Time,” released in October 2025 and has since gained traction among his growing fanbase. With this release, neytan now takes a more sentimental turn that evokes the familiar feeling of long bus rides home.
“There is always a specific type of love songs displayed [on bus rides] from artists like Air Supply, Stephen Bishop and Jaya,” neytan (Nathan Del Mundo) shares, citing his influences for the newly released track. Serving as both the main writer and producer, he first conceived the track during a restless night, leaving it unfinished for a few months before revisiting it with fellow musicians, Reese Medestomas (keys) and JP Napiza (strings).

Embracing humor, romance, and sincerity in his distinct brand of songwriting, neytan continues to redefine the love song format with intent and care. As the young bedroom musician sums it up, “I just wanted to write another love song with nonsense lyrics that has that feeling of love that you can’t really deny the genuineness of it.”
neytan’s “Ano Lasa ng Pag-ibig? Edi Tipaklong” is out now and is available for streaming on all digital music platforms worldwide. Catch him live on April 18 at Hot Cat Cafe, Baguio for Sigaw ng Kuwago’s Usay Buhay.
From folktronica to indigenous hip-hop, Our Shame and HengJones co-headline the regional music showcase and conference festival alongside artists from Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, and the Philippines
Metro Manila, Philippines — Taiwanese new wave hits the Philippines this month as alternative pop duo Our Shame and acclaimed hip-hop artist HengJones co-headline All Of The Noise 2026, a three-day, multi-venue and culture festival set across Astbury Makati (April 17 and 19), Sari-Sari Makati (April 17 and 19), and 123 Block in Mandaluyong City (April 18).
As two of the most promising emerging voices in the Taiwanese independent music scene, both acts will be joining an eclectic roster of lineup from the Asia Pacific region, including Indonesia’s Grrrl Gang, Arash Buana, and Gavendri; New Zealand’s Phoebe Rings, Singapore’s Shye, and our very own BP Valenzuela, DJ Love, Elijah Canlas, Fitterkarma, Ourselves the Elves, SOS, and more.
Making their official debut in Manila, Our Shame and HengJones bring distinct sonic identities honed by culture, experimentation, and storytelling. Our Shame will perform at the intimate Sari-Sari stage on April 17, while HengJones takes over the outdoor stage at 123 Block on April 18.
Our Shame arrives on the heels of their critically acclaimed Hidden Album, a concept-driven project that explores themes of intimacy and discovery through a layered folktronica lens. Combining acoustic instrumentation with field recordings and electronic textures that extend from trip-hop to UK garage influences, the indie duo makes compelling pop tunes that are sonically understated but whose songwriting feels personal and immersive. The Taiwanese pairing is currently developing extended works from the album, including prospective international collaborations with plans for a tour in Japan in late 2026 or early 2027.
HengJones, on the other hand, continues to gather incredible recognition for his debut album, fangcalay a tamedaw—a deeply introspective body of work rooted in Indigenous Pangcah (Amis) identity. Built on themes of matriarchal narratives and language preservation, the project reflects an important intersection of heritage and contemporary hip-hop culture. Following a well-lauded performance in Shibuya, Japan, HengJones is currently working on a new material featuring a Japanese producer, alongside major appearances and an upcoming nationwide tour in his home country, Taiwan.
Beyond live performances, All Of The Noise 2026 expands its cultural footprint through its Cut Through The Noise conference, tackling key issues shaping the regional music ecosystem, and Echoes of the Noise, a curated program of music documentaries exploring the intersections of sound, identity, and social movements.
With its multi-platform programming and cross-border collaborations, All Of The Noise 2026 continues its commitment to positioning the Philippines’ growing role as a vital hub in Asia’s burgeoning independent music landscape.
MANILA, Philippines — Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) has introduced the Kaya-Sulit RFO Promo, a program designed to lower the cost and simplify the process of buying ready-for-occupancy homes. Developed in partnership with EastWest Bank (EWB) and the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), the offering features 5% down payment, up to 95% bank financing, waived bank fees, faster loan approvals, and project discounts, helping more Filipino families secure a home with greater ease and financial flexibility.
By simplifying both the purchase and loan processes, the program addresses the most common barriers faced by today’s buyers—from high entry requirements and unpredictable payments to hidden fees and long waiting periods. Through its integrated approach, Kaya-Sulit empowers more Filipinos to take confident steps toward owning a home.
MAS MURA – Lower Entry Through Lower Reservation Fees and Bigger Upfront Savings
Under the program, buyers begin with a low and fixed reservation fee, allowing them to secure their chosen ready-for-occupancy unit with minimal initial cash-out. This low-entry structure is further strengthened by project-specific discounts of up to 35%, applied directly to the total list price. With clear price-before-and-after comparisons, buyers can immediately see their savings, helping them make faster and more confident purchase decisions.
MAS MAGAAN – Simplified 5% Down Payment and 95% Bank Financing
The promo is anchored on a streamlined 5% down payment and 95% bank financing structure, making monthly obligations lighter and more predictable. Buyers may settle the down payment through flexible options—either via spot cash or installment over up to 12 months, with select projects offering early move-in advantages. At the same time, loan evaluation is processed through partner banks, enabling parallel assessment and faster approval.
Through its banking partnerships, buyers benefit from faster loan processing and take-out, priority endorsement lanes, and guaranteed fixed interest rates of up to five years—allowing them to move forward efficiently, reduce waiting time, and gain early clarity on their financing capacity. Qualified applicants may receive pre-qualification results within three to seven working days, enabling them to quickly assess their loan eligibility and proceed with confidence. Dedicated relationship managers further guide buyers throughout the approval process, ensuring a smoother and more supportive financing journey.
MAS TIPID – Maximum Value Through Discounts and Waived Fees
Beyond lower entry and lighter payments, the program delivers strong long-term value through substantial cost savings. Discounts of up to 35%, combined with additional incentives for spot cash payments, allow buyers to maximize value upfront. Zero bank fees and reduced incidental charges help minimize surprise expenses later in the process. Select turnover and processing fees are also excluded from total contract price computations and assessed separately, making overall move-in costs more transparent.
Participating Projects: Strong Value Across Homes, Condominiums, and Lots
Under the Kaya-Sulit RFO Promo, buyers can choose from select condominium, house-and-lot, and lot-only projects—each offering substantial savings, low entry costs, and manageable monthly payments.
Projects such as Verde Spatial in Quezon City and Studio City in Muntinlupa offer two-bedroom units designed for professionals and growing families. These developments feature long-term bank financing for up to 30 years.
For buyers seeking standalone homes, Sandia Homes in Batangas and Ventura Real in Batangas provide affordable house-and-lot option under the promo. With discounts of up to 15% and flexible down payment terms payable over eight months, buyers can secure a home with reservation fees and monthly down payments starting at around ₱9,000.
Lot-only projects such as Ventura and East Bay cater to buyers planning to build their homes in the future. These communities offer discounts of up to 30%, with five percent down payment spread over eight to ten months, and financing terms of up to 20 years.
A Nationwide Selection Designed for Every Stage of Homeownership
From first-time buyers and young professionals securing their first condominium, to growing families moving into house-and-lot communities, and long-term planners investing in residential lots, the Kaya-Sulit RFO Promo offers options that support every stage of the homeownership journey.
Available for a limited time and applicable to select ready-for-occupancy projects, the Kaya-Sulit RFO Promo is subject to standard terms, conditions, and bank approval.
With Kaya-Sulit, Filinvest Land reaffirms its long-standing commitment to helping Filipino families secure not just a home, but a foundation for a better future. By removing financial barriers and simplifying the path to ownership, the company continues to transform long-held aspirations into real opportunities—empowering more Filipinos to finally move in, move forward, and build the life they have always dreamed of.
Enabling more resilient operations and reduced downtime through industry-leading connectivity
PLDT Enterprise executives lead discussions with industry partners on how resilient, high-performance network infrastructure is enabling real-time operations and business continuity across sector
Manufacturing, logistics, and pharmaceutical sectors are under increasing pressure to operate faster, coordinate across multiple sites, and respond to disruptions in real time. However, many still rely on fragmented systems that limit visibility and slow decision-making.
To address these challenges, PLDT Enterprise, the B2B arm of PLDT Inc. and market leader in enterprise connectivity and ICT solutions in the Philippines, in collaboration with Cisco, is working with organizations to strengthen the network infrastructure that supports daily operations.
“Connectivity today is no longer just about keeping systems online: It’s about enabling businesses to respond in real time, operate securely across multiple environments, and scale without added complexity,” said Jay Lagdameo, PLDT Enterprise Vice President and Head of Domestic Enterprise Business – Regional and Commercial. “By working closely with partners like Cisco, we’re helping organizations build the kind of network foundation that supports how industries are evolving today.”
At a recent industry session with leaders from manufacturing, logistics, and related sectors, discussions led by Cisco and PLDT Enterprise focused on how high-performance and resilient network architectures support cross-site coordination, strengthen system reliability, and enable faster, more informed decision-making.
Enabling industry use cases through integrated solutions
The session featured PLDT Enterprise’s range of connectivity and ICT solutions designed to support evolving operational requirements across industries. Built on PLDT’s extensive nationwide fiber infrastructure and backed by resilient wireless networks, these solutions are built to deliver for mission-critical operations.
Among these is its Managed SD-WAN solution, which delivers strong connectivity resiliency for industries with highly distributed operations such as logistics, FMCG, and retail. By combining wired and wireless internet links into a unified network, it ensures continuous connectivity across warehouses, distribution hubs, stores, and remote sites.
Intelligent traffic steering and automatic failover allow seamless switching between fiber, broadband, and 5G connections—keeping operations running even during link disruptions through multi-layered redundancy for business continuity.
With centralized management and real-time visibility, businesses can maintain operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and deliver a consistent customer experience across all locations.
From fragmented systems to real-time operations
Traditional setups often rely on siloed systems, making it difficult for teams to access accurate, up-to-date information across locations. This can result in production delays, inefficient inventory management, and slower response to disruptions across the supply chain. Many organizations also face challenges integrating emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and cloud-based platforms into existing systems, limiting their ability to fully realize the benefits of digital transformation and maintain operational continuity at scale.
With more advanced network capabilities, businesses can move toward integrated environments where data flows seamlessly across operations. This supports use cases such as real-time tracking of goods, automated workflows in production environments, and more efficient coordination between warehouses, distribution hubs, and frontline teams.
Industry collaboration, integrated digital transformation
The collaboration between PLDT Enterprise and Cisco underscores how modern network infrastructure has evolved from a supporting function into a critical enabler of real-time visibility, operational control, and business continuity. This ultimately helps businesses maintain performance and resilience as they adopt more data-driven and automated processes.
Furthermore, this initiative builds on PLDT Enterprise’s integrated ecosystem – bringing together connectivity, wireless, cloud, data center, platform, and global capabilities that are anchored on PLDT Group’s superior network foundation – to help businesses simplify operations and scale with greater confidence.

For many small retailers—many of whom are women entrepreneurs—sari-sari stores represent an important source of household income and economic resilience. Manila, Philippines – As part of its annual Global Month of Good celebration, Starbucks Philippines is reinforcing its commitment to the communities it serves – while inviting more Filipinos to take part in their own way.
This year, Starbucks highlights a simple but powerful idea: anyone can be a Community Champion through small, everyday actions that create meaningful change for the environment, the community, and other people.
“Our local initiatives are grounded in the belief that meaningful change starts with strong community connections,” said Jamie Silva, senior manager for Marketing, Digital Customer Experience and Social Impact, Starbucks Philippines. “From education to disaster response initiatives and partner volunteerism, 2025 reflects how collective action can create lasting impact.”
In 2026, Starbucks Philippines is expanding its community impact initiatives through strengthened partnerships, improved access to essentials, and more opportunities for both partners (employees) and customers to take part in meaningful action.
Supporting Communities Where They Need the Most
Through its partnership with Planet Water Foundation and The Starbucks Foundation, Starbucks Philippines provides clean water access and hygiene education to an estimated 42,400 people in various regions around the country. This April, a ninth AquaTower will be installed in Camarines Sur, extending access to safe drinking to around 7,000 more individuals.
Starbucks Philippines also continues its longstanding partnership with HOPE to support education. Each year, Starbucks partners (employees) come together to help build safe and inspiring learning spaces for underserved communities. This year marks the completion of a sixth public school classroom in Sarangani in April, helping provide safe and conducive learning spaces for students in the community.
Alongside its community initiatives, Starbucks Philippines is also strengthening its sustainability efforts within its store operations. Starbucks Philippines has partnered with MPower to supply electricity to around 60 Metro Manila stores under the Retail Aggregation Program. This partnership is expected to result in improved operational efficiency while supporting long-term sustainability goals.
Continuing Efforts Powered by Volunteerism
Starbucks’ commitment to being a Community Champion is also reflected through volunteerism and everyday participation.
Starbucks Community Stores in Abad Santos, Tondo, and Maysilo Circle continue to support education programs in partnership with AHA! Learning Center, Young Focus Foundation, and Mano Amiga Philippines. To date, more than 1,500 learners have benefited from after-school sessions, literacy development activities, and leadership-building programs that help them gain confidence and stay engaged in school.
Addressing food insecurity remains a key focus. Through its FoodShare program, Starbucks has redirected nearly 3 million rescuable food items from close to 300 stores nationwide. In partnership with The Philippine Food Bank Foundation and Grab Philippines, surplus food is distributed to various communities.
Beyond these organized programs, Starbucks encourages customers to take part in simple, everyday actions throughout Global Month of Good. In their own small way, store visits can become part of the impact. Customers can use for-here ware or bring their own tumblers for their coffee orders and enjoy a PHP 10 discount.
Simple actions, when done together, can create a meaningful impact over time. This Global Month of Good, everyone is invited to be a Community Champion. To learn more about the Global Month of Good, visit starbucks.ph/social-impact.
