MARIKINA CITY — As the festive season reaches full swing across the Philippines, the East Metro’s most loved mall, SM City Marikina, has officially launched its highly anticipated annual holiday spectacle. Under the grand nationwide banner of Super Magical Christmas At SM, the shopping center has transformed its main central atrium into an immersive, enchanted fantasy forest that promises maxed out experiences for visitors of all ages throughout the holiday season.
The centerpiece and primary attraction of this year’s seasonal celebration, the Holiday Twinklewoods, welcomes mallgoers to a whimsical woodland filled with glowing Christmas trees, storybook-style mushrooms, and enchanting forest details. Shimmering warm lights, intricate leaf-and-vine displays, and towering festive foliage bring the charm of a classic fairytale directly into the heart of the city, offering a bright and heartwarming spectacle.
Mika
Taking center stage within this glowing realm is Mika, the official character of the mall. Decked in cheerful holiday attire, Mika stands ready to take everyone on a delightful adventure through the illuminated forest trails, interacting with young shoppers, greeting delighted families, and helping visitors navigate the wondrous sights of the interactive installation.
Leading the ceremonial seasonal launch was Francis Brian Cruz, the mall manager (head) of SM City Marikina. During the event, he shared that the primary vision behind this year’s grand production is to offer every visitor a warm, fairytale escape where families, shoppers, and groups of friends can gather, take photos, and celebrate the season together. He emphasized that the walkthrough was thoughtfully designed to create lasting memories while providing an inviting space that brings light, laughter, and authentic holiday warmth to the local community.
