CHRISTMAS BLOOMS, PLANTS TOP PICK AT SM CITY MARILAO’ S GARDENING FAIR
SM City Marilao’s Event Center becomes an immersive experience for shoppers as hundreds of ornamental blooms and decorative plants transforms the 713 sqm space into an indoor holiday botanical garden.
Growers, breeders and local plant retailers from Bulacan and other nearby town turn out to participate in the mall’s Gardening Fair. Exhibitors are mix of reputable sellers like Ofel’s Pots and Plants from Marilao, Allen’s Garden from Guiguinto, Verde plants and crafts from Pulilan, Aluc Nui Crop and Buganhi’s Garden from Sta. Maria, Ana Liza Garden and Bee Pots & Plants MNL from Quezon City.
Quintessential flowers and plant species associate with Christmas time are showcase in the fair. Bright red plants and blooms like poinsettias are reportedly shopper’s top preference list. Best sellers also include house plants like furry feather calathea, dracaena fortune plant, red shower, portuluca and collector’s plants like golden barrel cactus, aglaonema suksom jaipong, anthurium regale and monstera deliciosa.
While shoppers are captivated by the brilliant red and green and white flowers and foliage, the exhibit also offers a quick escape to reconnect with nature. Diverse array of flowers and unique plant species are featured at the fair. There are also different kinds of miniature masterpieces like succulents and bonsai. Shoppers will also have the rare opportunity to meet local plant breeders as they share tips to make growing easier, successful, and more enjoyable
Apart from wide array of plants, the fair also houses complete gardening needs from potting soils, plant ties, organic compost, fertilizers, decorative pots, and buri mat as well as native baskets.
The Gardening Fair advocates to facilitate entrepreneurial opportunities for MSMEs who are affected by the pandemic. This campaign is rolled out to help shoppers find, discover, and support MSMEs and local businesses especially in the province.
Gardening fair at SM City Marilao will run until November 05.
