Filinvest City’s Festival of Possibilites 2018: Not your ordinary Community Fair
The recently held community fair entitled Festival of Possibilities welcomed everyone young and old, residents or employees of Filinvest City or not.
To accommodate its attendees, they have prepared something for everybody. Supersized games were not only great to look at but also entertaining and enjoyable as old school games comes to life. Tic-tac-toe, Snakes and ladders, and Pickup sticks are for the kids and the kids-at-heart. Jenga was a good addition along with arcade games such as Basketball, racing and foosball. That’s not all, an inflatable playground fascinated the kids.

Pop-up stores abound and food stalls took care of the hungry crowd. Lucky as I was, visitors were also treated to boxes of pizza. They really know how to keep guests happy.
The date was June 8 and the event is free for all residents and employees of Filinvest city. Non-residents got in too and access to the event for them was as simple as purchasing P1000 worth of products from any of the merchants in Festival Alabang, Westgate Center and Fastbytes in Northgate Cyberzone which serves as a ticket to the event.
The concert started with the beats of DJ Wicked Adobo. His name sounds local, however, his music had an international quality to it and it got everybody moving.
The bands who performed were Autotelic, Ben & Ben, Franco, and Parokya ni Edgar. The rain didn’t stop the concert even as everybody was getting wet from the pouring rain.
Impressively, the program flowed smoothly even if the weather did not cooperate. Nothing can stand in the way of having fun. The event was successful at getting the community closer. For this year, another event is coming up on July, which is next month. Endurance run welcomes all bike enthusiasts to join the activity. The recently concluded event and upcoming sports activity hopes to foster more engagement in the community and so far, the results are looking good.
